The title of the book I am doing this report on is called Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer. It is the last book in the Twilight series. I read the first book and fell in love. I actually became obsessed. One book after the other. I finished the whole series in about 2 months. That's a record for me. I was so sad when it was over so I decided to read it again. I read it 2 times. This isn't a short book either. It is actually 754 pages long. It is probably one of the best books I have ever read. The book is a love story between a vampire and a girl, (who is now a vampire). Now that Bella has Renesmee (who is half mortal, half vampire), the entire Volturi clan is coming to destroy the child. She is a threat to their secret. Bella has some extra supernatural powers too along with Edward and Alice. That power could save her daughter and the rest of the vampire clans from the Volturi coven. Her daughter has also got a power. It is a strange way of communicating. Jacob also makes peace with the vampires. Especially, Renesmee. "When you loved the one who was killing you, it left you with no options. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give to your beloved, how could you not give it? If it was someone you truly loved?" That quote is my all time favorite. I chose this quote because it shows the audience what Bella is going through. She basically has to decide whether or not to give her life to her true love. That quote has a lot of power in its words. It also shows her frustration she has to go through to make this decision. That decision is basically the whole book. I am going to rate this book on a scale of 1-5. 1 being bad and 5 being absolutely amazing.
I would recommend this book to a mature female teen audience. I am a mature teen and so are my friends and they loved the book. I would not recommend it to you kids because they are some sexual scenes and some violence. Guys didn't seem very into it but girls fell in love with Edward. This series of books captured the minds of so many people that anybody could read it and love it just as much as I did. |

Dairy Queen
I chose to write a blog about Dairy Queen a book by Catherine Gilbert Murdock. The reason I chose this book is because when I first began reading it I wasn't into it at all but as I started to read more I was hooked. I was given this book by mom, who picked it out for me as a Hanukkah present. She always seems to pick out the books with interesting covers and titles and so far that has worked out. In this situation the book didn't sound appealing at first but you have to trust a mothers instinct.
The main characters in this book are fifteen-year-old D.J. Schwenk of Red Bend, Wisconsin, Brian Nelson Quarterback for Hawley High School and rivals of Red Bend, Amber who is best friends with D.J. and her little brother Curtis Schwenk. The Schwenk family owns a dairy farm in Red Bend that D.J. does most of the work. One day the Hawley High School coach Jimmy Ott, long time friend of the Schwenks, asks if he could have his star quarterback Brian Nelson help out on the farm. Well, right away D.J and Brian get off to a bad start but as they find more in common such as football they find it easier to be around each other. As well as working on the farm D.J. helps Brian train for football season but discovers some things about Brian and herself along the way. Maybe there is a reason why her little brother Curtis never talks and her older brothers never come home to visit, or why her only friend is Amber and why Brian Nelson might not seem so bad.
D.J Schwenk says the quote that I find most interesting, " When you don't talk there's a lot of stuff that ends up not getting said." D.J. doesn't like to talk about her feelings and that is the way her family is as well. She always says how the Schenks deal with things is by not saying anything and hoping it will blow over in a few days or weeks but sometimes it could take months. I feel this quote demonstrates how D.J. feels about her family and the life she lives where she has a lot to say but no one to say it to.
The rating system I developed is: One milk bottle represents that the book was okay but I wouldn't recommend it. Two milk bottles represents the book was good but I wouldn't read it again. Three milk bottles represents that the book overall was good but there were parts that were really boring. Four milk bottles represents that the book was good at the beginning but towards the end I couldn't put it down and I would recommend it. Five milk bottles represents that the book was amazing and I could never put it down and I would read it over again. I give my book four out of five milk bottles because I wasn't into the book at the beginning but as the book progressed I found it more interesting and I couldn't put it down. For my rating system I am using milk bottles because the Scwenk family owns a dairy farm, so I thought it would be a good idea to use this image.
Three reasons I would recommend this book are, it is very realistic and has a mix of athleticism and romance, the characters and the plot of the story are very interesting, and the book shows what it is like to balance so many things such as school, sports, boys, and work. I would recommend this book to girls between the ages of eleven and fifteen. Warning there is some adult content and language. I would recommend this book to readers who like books about people's lives and their struggles and thoughts. There is no mystery, no action or adventure but there is a great story if you look behind the pages.

Evermore
The book I read was Evermore by Alyson Noel. I selected this book when looking for a book to read while waiting for the next House of Night book to come out. It was recommended to me by one of the employees of Barnes and Noble. The cover was unusual and the synopsis on the back of the book really pulled me in, so I decided to buy it.
The main character is named Ever. Her family died in a car accident and somehow she lived. The repercussion of this travesty was that she could see auras, read minds, and with the simple touch she can read the persons entire history. When she goes to school one day she meets a boy. His name is Damen. The reason she realized him is because of his perfect beauty and the fact that he had no aura. Whenever she touches him, her body tingles and he is the only one she can focus on, everything else just stops and goes away. This book refers to common themes in a teenagers' life, as in crushes and first love. Whether you realize it or not, this book entices you and changes your entire idea about how you felt or will feel when that day comes where you meet someone special.
The quote I chose from Evermore is, "'I don't want to talk about it,' I say, blinking at the water globes that are now red and forming into a tulip.
'What do you want to talk about?' he whispers, gazing at me with those eyes, two infinite pools luring me in.
'I don't want to talk,' I whisper, holding my breath as his lips met mine." This quote says a lot about the book. The reason I chose this quote was because of their love in the story. Ever and Damen are truly in love. The second reason is because of the tulip they mentioned. Damen periodically gives Ever red tulips. They appear out of thin air, on paper, and now an image of glowing light bulbs floating in water. Later in the book Ever finds out that red tulips symbolize ever-dieing love or affection. It is interesting how Damen shows his love for her in so many ways. It is truly sweet.
I would rate this book in red tulips to show how much I love this book and also to symbolize the love in the book. I would give this book 4 out of 5 red tulips. It was an amazing book. It was well written and painted an interesting picture. The meaning was clear and the ending, enticing. I loved this book.

I would recommend this book to all teenagers. It shows how we see love at this age, specifically our first crushes. It goes through emotional rollercoaster during the duration of the book that any teen would find interesting. It also shows others that when something bad happens, you can always push through. I would not recommend this to children younger than 11. This book has references to underage drinking. It truly is an amazing book.
Twilight
Anna
Mrs. Huff, Period 2
I really enjoyed reading the book Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I didn't even know about this book until the movie came out. My friends dragged me to see the movie and I really liked it. So my friends and I decided to read all of the books in the Twilight Saga and this was the first one.
Twilight is about a 17 year old girl named Bella Swan who goes to live with her dad Charlie in a small town called Forks. On her first day in her new high school, she is seated next to a boy named Edward Cullen he doesn't say one word to her and tries to sit as far away as he can. Over the next few days he begins talking and they become friends, but one day Bella is almost hit by a car and it Edward appeared out of nowhere and saved her. Bella begins questioning Edward to find out how he got to her so fast but he kept refusing. She convinced her friend Jacob Black to tell her some tribal myths, and she realizes that Edward and his family are vampires, but they only drink animal blood. When she confronts Edward he confesses. Eventually, Bella and Edward fall in love and he introduces her to his family. One day at a family baseball game a different group of vampires come and one of them, James a tracker, smells Bella and tries to attack. Edward held him off, but not for long and the race to save Bella is on.
My favorite quote from the book was when Edward said"and so the lion fell in love with the lamb." I think the quote really relates to the book because it shows that two things that are supposed to be enemies have fallen in love. Lions eat lambs, just like how vampires survive off human blood. Instead of them fearing each other they fell in love.
The rating system I created for this book is 5 broken hearts 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. I chose the symbol broken hearts because Edward and Bella know that they should not be in love and yet they are. I am giving this book 4 broken hearts because I think Bella found out that Edward was a vampire way too fast. I wish Stephanie Meyer had made it more mysterious.
I think girls will really enjoy this book. It shows that guys can be masculine yet sweet and romantic. It allows girls to read about the guy they fantasize about, and lets them dream about one day being swept off their feet. I wouldn't recommend this book to any guys because its very sweet and romantic and guys may not find it interesting.

New Moon
Sharon English, Period 6 September 15, 2009 New Moon I enjoyed reading New Moon by Stephanie Meyer. New Moon is the second book in the Twilight Saga. I decided to read this book because Twilight left me wanting more hence, I read the second book. Personally, I enjoy fiction romance books so it seemed like a really good book for me to read. I also have male friends whom also enjoyed reading New Moon. New Moon is a romance novel that includes action. To me, the main characters seem to be Bella, Edward, and Jacob; others may disagree or agree. Bella and Edward are lovers. But like in most books, that isn't all there is to it. Edward is a vampire and Bella is human which concerns Edward for the sake of Bella's safety. You'll have to read so that you know where Jacob comes in and why I consider him a main character. Everyone knows Bella and Edward but once you read New Moon, you'll notice Jacob. "It will be as if I'd never existed." This quote is what turns the story around. It was a promised by Edward to Bella near the beginning of the book (don't worry about this being a spoiler). Try to imagine how you would feel if the one person you love very deeply promised you that very promise. If you really imagined it, I hope you get interested to read this book. The moons are a rating system. I gave New Moon four moons out of five. It was a book that I was able to get absorbed to real quickly. And it held my interest to reading for a while. The reason it didn't receive five moons is that the reason that New Moon seems like a great book is because you get so absorbed in reading it. It is a great read but it's just not the BEST book when you think about it after it's been read. I especially recommend this book (and the whole saga) to readers who have a difficult time finishing a book once started. I got very, very absorbed into reading this book. This book was very enjoyable for me to read and I really liked it because it's really easy to picture the characters in your own way. There are also a lot of different opinions when it comes to this book which also makes it a good book to read since you can discuss with fellow readers and just listen to opinions that may be completely different from yours. The first warning is that you should read Twilight before you read New Moon because New Moon is the second book to a series. The second warning is that it's written for a teenage audience. It is, in fact, a romance novel. This book is where the whole Edward versus Jacob starts. |

The Hunger Games By Suzanne Collins
For my book report I read The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I thought The Hunger Games was so amazing because it had so much detail and it was filled with action and drama. It is about this girl Katniss who lives in District 12 with her mother and her little sister Prim. And her family is very poor and her and her friend Gale go out hunting so Katniss can feed her family. And every year for all the 23 districts, they do an even called the Hunger Games. This is where they pick a boy and a girl from each district and they take them to an arena and they have to survive in the middle of basically nowhere and they also basically have to kill everyone to win. So whoever is the last one living wins and gets to go back to their district. In district 12 though they have only had one winner from along time ago named Haymitch who pretty much helped them get prepared for the games. Though at the reaping which is where they pick the people's names for the Hunger Games, Prim, Katniss's 12 year old sister, gets picked which leaves Katniss in total shock. Unexpectedly, Katniss runs up the stage and volunteers to switch with Prim. Though Prim still doesn't want her to go but Katniss wants to do it for her sister. But then, they had to pick the boy, and the boy who got picked was Peeta, the last one who came up to Katniss's mind. She kept on thinking to herself, "Why Peeta!? Why him?" This was because when Katniss's family was starving to death, and Peeta didn't even know her, he gave her a piece of bread. And the only time they have seen eachother was at school. Though now Katniss was worried that she had to owe him something now. It gets very suspenseful wondering what their relationship will be like at the games. When they start heading for the training place, they are offered with tons of food, which leaves Katniss very happy unlike at District 12 where they have minimum offerings of food. Then after all the training they had done, they had to show the Career Tributes how good they were and they were going to announce in TV their scores. Katniss was the last one to go, after Peeta, though when she went she thought she ruined the whole thing because she though the career tributes were paying more attention to the food they had. So then she aimed her arrow to the apple on the table and made it right in the middle of the apple which left the career tributes shocked and staring at her. Then she left. Next day she was waiting nervously for the score. Ends up, she got the highest score! They ended up liking her attitude. Then after all the interviews, they were ready to go to the arena and start the Hunger Games. They found out the arena took place at a place where they sloughter pigs. Though they basically made it look like a forest. When they went in they were placed on a silver platform waiting for the horn to play which meant the games started. Though infront of them, a few feet away, were a bunch of stuff to survive. When the horn rang, everyone started killing eachother over everything! Though Katniss managed to get some things. Though that's when all the action started! I will not say everything that happened because I don't want to spoil it but it was really good. Though it was so suprising when the host announced that a whole tribute can come back together and not just one single person! Though the one twist Peeta and Katniss had to do was that they had to pretend they were in love to get a lot of sponsors. Its gets suspenseful every chapter. I basically cried when I was reading! Though I am giving part of the end away… They won! But there is more after that! So if you love drama and action then read this book cause it awesome!

The Hunger Games
"I volunteer as tribute". Katniss volunteers to become a tribute. It wasn't a good idea because she could have gotten killed. If she didn't volunteer she wouldn't of found about Peeta. Or maybe, just like the book said that she must have been jealous of Prim.

Hunger Games
old girl named Katniss living in a country named Panem.Panem is the ruins of North America in
the future. There are 12 districts in Panem including the Capitol that rules the districts.Every year
the Capitol has somthing called The Hunger Games .The Hunger Games is were all of the
districts fight each other for survival and who ever wins gets food for thier district. The Capitol
makes you send a boy and a girl from each district from 12-18 years of age.The Hunger Games
were made to remind the districts never to go against the Capitol again, therefore they made
The Hunger Games as punishment to the districts.Katniss lives in district 12(which is kind of
poor)where she hunts animals in the woods(which is illegal)for food for her family.Katniss has
a 12 year old sister named Prim and a mother. Her dad died by an explosion that happened
when he was in a mine.It ends up happening that Prim gets chosen to be in The Hunger Games.
Then Katniss volunteers to be in The Hunger Games so that Prim doesnt have to go.I picked
this book becuase when i read the summary of it I just couldn't deny reading it.I mean it has
romance, action, adventure, suspence, and survival you just can't put this book down.
A quote from the book that shows Katniss' major conflict is when she says " I twist and scuttle
backwards on my hands and feet, shrieking, trying to remove myself from the horror."This part
is when Katniss is in the The Hunger Games(in the woods)and her knee got hit by a fire ball.
Her knee is scorching with pain as she tries to get away from the wall of fire that throws the
the fireballs. When she gets to water she puts her knee in it,it soothes the pain from the knee
thats bloody. She learned to put water on watever part of her body was burned when she
used to make fire in the fireplace for warmth.
Honestly I loved this book I couldn't put this book down. The Hunger Games leaves readers hungry
for more. This book has a lot of suspence, it keeps readers wondering.I would recommend
this book to people who love action, adventure,a little romance, and suspenceful packed book.
Trust me The Hunger Games is like nothing you have read in a long time.

The Hunger Games
A quote that shows Katniss's major conflict is: "Every sense I have goes into overdrive as the need to survive takes over." (The Hunger Games ,pg.175). Katniss has to put all her effort into surviving. Any sudden motion can bring death. Her mind has to be alert at all times. She also has to provide herself with food and water. There is major stress put on her, knowing she could die at any moment. She has to be ready to move if she spots an enemy. Katniss is in the wild all on her own, and as more and more people die, it makes it harder to hide. The girl has to plan every move with care. She wants to make it back home to her sister and mother, so winning the games is very important.
I loved The Hunger Games because it was so exciting. The book was very surprising and it was hard for me to put it down. It combined action with a bit of romance. You fall in love with the book in the first chapter. It doesn't take long for the action to start. I wold recommend this book to anyone who loves an action packed page turner. If you like exciting books that are fiction you will love The Hunger Games.

Flowers for Algernon
sad books about peoples life's and their hardships, I chose it. This book is about a man named Charlie
Gordon, who is mentally retarded. He is thirty-two and he goes to Beekman School to learn. He writes
progress reports, and he takes tests on which he fails. After a while the teachers and doctors decide
to give him a brain operation to make him intelligent, but they only tested it on a mouse named
Algernon. A long time after the operation he becomes more uncaring and he starts to believe that before
the operation people thought he was not a person. Then he falls in love with a woman who works at the
college and who teaches him. But that woman wants to wait a little bit. He goes to see his father. His
father is a barber. He does not tell his father that he is his son, he just gets a haircut and leaves.
After a while he goes to see his mother and his sister. His mother used to beat him when he was a kid,
because he would not understand things, or he would misbehave. He then gets ill and he starts to lose
control.
"Im glad I got a second chanse in life like you said to be smart again because I lerned alot of
things that I never even new were in this werld and Im grateful I saw it all even for a littel bit."
(Flowers for Algernon, page 310.) When he says "second chanse in life" he is talking about himself
learning a lot of languages. He is talking about a woman whom he loved. He learned to love and have
feelings. He learned to write and read. His IQ got higher. He knew what to say and do to not get in
trouble. He became smart.
The book was great, I really loved it. What I liked about it was the fact that the author took
notice or writing in a way a mentally retarded person would. I also liked the way the author explained
the whole book with details, so that there would not be any questions asked. I would definitrely
recommend it to all my freinds, and probably even to my parents. It is a great book.

Twilight- Beila Castro
English per 6
Nov. 20, 2008
The title of the book is Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I selected this book because my friend Alice introduced me to it and when she told me what it was about i thought i might begin to read it to see how it was. and before I knew it, i could't put the book down and i read the whole series more than twice.
It is about a girl named Bella Swan who lives with her mother in Phoenix, Arizona and moves in with her dad, Charlie, who is alot like her, in a small town in Washington named forks. When she is settled in she begins high school where she left off and attends Forks High School. Bella hates it there, but soon meets Edward who turns her whole life around and starts to give it meaning to her. Edward has siblings who are, just like him, vampires. Their names are Alice, jasper, Rosalie, and Emmet. Alice is a small petite, pixie-like, joyful vampire girl. Jasper, Alice's partner, blond, and not very good at controlling himself when it comes to the smell of blood, because he is the most recent one in the family. Emmet, a strong, muscular, funny vampire. Rosalie, Emmet's partner, has long wavy silky blond hair, beautiful, very self-centered and an envious vampire. Then there are Edwards parents, Carlisle and esme. Carlisle, the towns doctor at the hospital,
blond,
And the longest living vampire out of the Cullen family. Esme, a loving, caring vampire, who treats all the Cullen siblings and Bella as her own children. Bella does happen to get into trouble with vampire, unfortunately. She knows their secret so she is in danger, because the volturi doesn't allow any human to know their secret, and she also has confrontations with bad vampires, who drink human blood. Bella also has problems with someone who Edward has to compete with, Jacob. Even though Jacob is younger than her, he still tries, even though Bella only likes him as a friend.
The quote from this book that i felt had the most significance was on page 274. "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb." i chose this quote because i felt like this was the quote that the whole story begins from and how their love really begins. In this quote Edward is relating to him as the lion and Bella as the lamb. Edward the vampire, predator, and Bella a human, his prey.
For the rating system i would choose hearts. From 1 being the most horrible book ever and dont even bother to pick it up, to 5 being the best book ever. I would give it 5 hearts, because i absolutley love this book and i chose the hearts because it stands for Edward and Bella's unconditional love for eachother.
3 reasons that i think why anyone would want to read this book is because it has action for boys, romance for the girls and women, and just the whole idea of vampires will interest anyone in any gender. Getting to read about how these fictional figures are so alike we humans, but have many differences that make them vampires. I think that whole idea is fascinating.
Twilight-Olivia Lucero
Lucero, Olivia English, Period 6 November 19, 2008 Twilight Book Report Blog I read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, my favorite series of all time. This has been my favorite series for a while now and will be for a while longer. Lucky for me, this book has a movie coming out on the 21st of November. I have read this book six times now and I just can't get tired of it. Stephenie Meyer has such descriptive writing and her style captivated me by the first page. This was the book to read for me because of how much I love it. As soon as I heard we had a book report my mind immediately jumped to Twilight. Sure I have read other great books, but none of them compared to this one. I just had to pick it. The book had amzing characters and an outstanding plotline. There are multiple characters but for this particular book in the series, I'd have to say that Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, Alice Cullen, and Dr. Carlisle Cullen were the important ones. Bella Swan sees herself as an average girl but no one else does. To others, she appears kind and caring and usually thinks of others rather than herself. She is a good friend and, trust me, she can keep a secret. Edward Cullen is the hero of the story and much more. He is the main vampire, who falls in love with Bella along with the rest of the school, but for very different reasons. The rest fo the school loves her because she is the new and different one. Edward loves her because of her personality, beauty, and much more. Edward himself, is very generous and only thinks of what's good for Bella and never himself. Alice Cullen is Edward's adoption sister but they are as close as if related by blood. Alice is spunky, energetic, fun-loving, and never shuts up. She loves to party and is always looking for a reason to have one. She becomes Bella's friend toward the end of the book but Alice always knew they would be friends. Carlisle Cullen is Edward's and Alice's adoption father. He is always calm nd knows what to do for every situation. Carlisle is compationate and an intelligent vampire. He is the top doctor at the hospital in Forks. He is constantly fixing up Bella whenever she gets injured, so in other words, a lot. This story is unique because it has two conflicts that are solved throughout the book. In the first half, Bella moves to Forks and is the main attraction to everyone at Forks High, except for five exceptional students. They stick out like a carrot with apples. They are the Cullen family and are all graceful, beautiful, quick, and vampires.Bella and Edward get closer and closer and as they notice more things about each other, Bella gets suspicious. Something weird is going on with the Cullens and she wants to know what. Eventually she figures out the family is a clan of vampires known as the "vegetarians" of their world. Their diet consists of animal and not human blood so it is in a way, safe for Bella to be around them. Eventually Edward and Bella are as close as a couple, just much more careful than one. When Edward takes Bella to a family baseball game, Bella is amzed at their speed and strength, but all goes wrong when three unexpected vampires arrive who's diet doesn't match that of the Cullen's. One of them is interested in a challenge proposed when the Cullens rush to protect Bella. James, the interested vampire tries a number of things to lure Bella into a trap. Will Bella ever be safe again? That's for you to find out, if you read the book. I have a favorite quote which is also the most famous from the book. It is when Edward says to Bella, "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb." It is a reference to them as a couple. Bella is the frail and fragile lamb, while Edward is the strong and graceful lion. The lion is a strong and has to be careful with the breakable lamb. Edward is a deadly and bloodthirsty creature of the shadows and Bella is the fragile and weak human that with one wrong move, can be easily killed by Edward. It is a great analogy about the odd pair up of the couple. The rating system for my book will be out of ten apples. The reason I used apples is because it is on the cover of the book. The apple symbolizes the knowledge of good and evil which is what Bella gains by the end of the book. The apple has such a history that it is a perfect represantation to the story. I give the book fifteen apples out of ten because the book is just that good. I recommend this book to people who are thirteen and older. This book is not only filled with romance, but it also contains suspense. It is a book that is very easy to fall in love with and gets some people to start loving reading. Twilight is a book that is good for both genders depeneding on where you are in life but it is a book that is so good you won't be able to put it down and will be sad when you are done. The book I chose to read is Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. I chose this book because it's my favorite book. Breaking Dawn is the last book in the Twilight series. How I started to read this book was because of my cousin Andy. Andy was reading it over the summer and told me about the book. Later my brother asked Andy for Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse so he can read. Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse is the first three books before Breaking Dawn. My brother first read Twilight and told me I should read it, so I started to read it and I got addicted to it.
This book is about vampires and werewolves. In the beginning of the book Bella and Edward get married. Bella is a human while Edward is a vampire who can read peoples' minds but can't read Bella's. Bella gets pregnant after her honeymoon. Edward wants to get that thing out of Bella because it's killing her but she won't allow it. Jacob is Bella's best man and he doesn't like that thing either and he begs her to get rid of it but she still doesn't listen. As well Jacob is a werewolf. When the baby is coming out it breaks Bella's spinal cord and Edward tries to put as much poison in Bella for her to transform into a vampire so she doesn't die. Bella's baby is named Renesmee and she is half human, half vampire. After Bella becomes a vampire the Volturi, the strongest group of vampires, find out that the Cullens', Edward's family, they mistakenly think that they have created a new born vampire which is against the rules, they come after the Cullens'.
Personal affection is a luxury you can have only after all your enemies are eliminated. Until then, everyone you love is a hostage, sapping your courage and corrupting your judgment.

I chose this quote because it actually makes more sense than the other quotes. This one makes more sense than other quotes in the book because until Bella defeats her enemies she can't love Edward or her baby because they would be in danger.
I would give this book five vampires out of five.
I recommend this book to anyone who would want to read it. It's a very addicting book; once you star you can't stop. Their is action and romance in this book. And it it gives you perspective about what it means to be mortal and immortal. Warning: there are some sexual content in this book.
