Flowers for Algernon

For my book report I read Flowers for Algernon. I choose this book, because it has a very unusual and interesting topic. This book is about a low I.Q man named Charlie Gordon, who was chosen to be the first person who got an operation to increase his intelligence. This experiment was only done on a lab mouse named Algernon. After the operation week by week Charlie kept getting smarter and smarter which caused some changes in his life. He stared  remembering about about his past and family, and also started to have feelings for his old teacher Alice. How absurd I was sitting in his shop waiting for him to pat me on the head and say good boy. Flowers for Algernon pg.187. This scene takes place at the barber shop Matt [ Charlie's dad] owns. Charlie just got enough courage to go his shop get a haircut and see if he will still remember him. While Matt was giving Charlie a haircut Charlie was
moving his head and he cut him in the back of his head. Charlie started remembering about the past how his mother was yelling in the middle of the night. She was Matt I can't live with him anymore, Norma [Charlie's little sister] won't be normal with him. Send him to Warren State Home or I will kill him! Maybe we should talk about this later it is late. No take him away now! I loved this this book it is amazing! I recommend this book for people who like science fiction. This book has to be on your book list, because it has romance, suspense, and a couple of tragedies. But every kid should read
